An alumnus of Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in the arts when she was growing in her teens. She sang in choirs entered contests for singing and also performed in the community theatre and in high school. Butler started shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller, on Mallorca on November 11, 2011. The film was also set to film on location in Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the feature film independent Treachery starring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012.
